【Unbeatable Together】Host Town Program- MACAU&HANAU

在6月12-15日期間,澳門特奧代表團受邀來到德國哈瑙參加SOWG23系列活動之Host Town Program。這項文化交流活動得到當地政府的大力支持,組織了二十多名義工共同參與,義工中不乏當地的特殊人士。

在義工們的帶領下,澳門特奧運動員參觀了哈瑙老雉園野生動物園與動物近距離接觸,並在園區內與大自然共進午餐;參觀格林兄弟博物館,了解當地名人文化歷史;在哈瑙圓形劇場觀看了格林兄弟童話節目HASE UND IGEL(兔子與刺蝟)。13號晚在哈瑙市長的邀請下參加了政府招待晚宴,雙方互贈紀念品。這些紀念品分別是澳門智障人士制作的本地特色的陶瓷制品和由澳門旅遊局推廣澳門的紀念品。活動旨在促進兩地人士的交流,讓雙方了解不同的國家文化,開闊視野,並向外界展現特殊人士亦能很好的融入社會,參與社區活動。

短短三天的交流活動,已讓大家在哈瑙市民中留下對澳門深刻美好的回憶,我們體會到來自德國人民的人情味。特別感謝哈瑙市長Maximilian Bieri先生、哈瑙體育局政府工作人員以及二十多名義工的支持及照顧,亦感謝澳門旅遊局支持提供紀念品。15號早上澳門特奧代表團從哈瑙出發前往柏林,開始正式比賽之旅,讓我們一起為運動員加油啦!

During June 12-15, the Macau Special Olympics delegation was invited to Hanau, Germany for participate in the Host Town Program of SOWG23 series event. This cultural exchange activity was strongly supported by the local government, which organized more that 20 volunteers to participate, including some local with special needs.

Accompanied by volunteers, the Macau Special Olympics athletes visited the Wildlife Park Klein-Auheim to get close to the animals and had lunch with nature in the park. They also visit the Brothers Grimm Museum to learn about the cultural history of local celebrities and watch the Brothers Grimm fairy tale show HASE UND IGEL at the outdoor theatre. On the evening of 13th, they attended the government welcome dinner at the invitation of the Mayor of Hanau, and both sides gave souvenirs to each other. These souvenirs are local ceramics made by people with special needs in Macau and souvenirs promoted by the Macau Government Tourism Office. These activities aim to facilitate exchanges between special persons of the two places, so that both sides can understand different national cultures, broaden theis horizons, and demonstrate to the outside world that special persons can integrate well into society and participate in community activities.
Just three days of exchange activities have left a deep and beautiful memory of Macao among Hanao citizens. We also experiences the human touch from the German people. Specially thanks to Mayor of Hanau, Mr. Maximilian Bieri, government staff of Hanau Sports Bureau and more that 20 volunteers for their support and care, and Macau Tourism Bureau for their support in providing souvenirs. On the morning of 15th, the Macau Special Olympics delegation set off from Hanau to Berlin to start the official competition journey. Let’s cheer for the athletes together!
